I frequent NE Oklahoma Indian casinos more then I prolly should so I feel I can give an objective review… Parking was open with access to fairly close spots. Decent crowd and they were running a hot seat promo. Staff was helpful and seemed overall happy to be there. Casino floor is bright and upscale with a lot of visual stimulation. They must have a scent infuser because there is a notable pleasant odor when you enter the door, I noticed it on my clothing a little when we were driving home ( kinda like downstream if you’ve ever been there ). Air quality was in par with any of the other casinos I have visited and better than most of the smaller ones. I honestly felt this place is a class act and will ad it to my rotation of casino’s I frequent. Games seemed fair, I was up and down a lot so the excitement level was good. I coulda left a few times in the black but I tend to be a " go-for-broke " kinda slot player ( yeah it’s me not you machine lol ) I didn’t notice any bingo based machines and they have no VGT games at all but I liked there selection of games all the same. Worth a visit in my honest opinion…. I give this casino 1 star because they simply do not care for the health of their patrons or employees. They may argue this fact because they believe their ventilation systems prevent any damage to the human body from smoke fumes that absolutely consume the atmosphere in that establishment. They are wrong. Even with these systems (which they are not using effectively), the damage will still come just as quick. The smell of smoke is present in this casino. Now you might think well of course because there are smokers, that is how it goes, and if they banned them, they would lose money. Actually, that is wrong there have been multiple studies done with casinos who have made those claims and they did not lose any revenue at all. I shall list my sources at the end. So when you’re spending time here whether it be in the restaurant or the casino or even the hotel you will feel the sting of the smoke that enters your body and begins to poison you. Now guests are the lucky ones in this scenario believe it or not. The employees have to endure the most of this onslaught due to the mismanagement and lies done by this casino and its higher ups. They completely believe that they should sacrifice their guests and employees health just because they do not “want to lose profit” or offend smokers. So instead of doing the right thing they of course chose money over life. Which I suppose is not surprising but disappointing all the same. If you believe that, a smoke free casino is impossible well you would be dead wrong. The state of Colorado and its casinos have been smoke free for years nearing a decade. Smoke free casinos should be the norm currently where the effects of smoke are prominently known. They do not even advertise this fact which is dishonest at the very least, just assuming people will know it is a smoking casino is irresponsible. They do not even tell employees applying to this job that it would be a smoking environment until later on. How I know all of this is because of my expertise and the plentiful amount of research into this topic. There is plenty of evidence to back up my claim. I even tried to bring up this issue with casino management and guess what they did, they laughed in my face and it seems they truly believe in this nonsense of just having a ventilation system works and that if they ban smoking inside the casino they will somehow go out of business. Needless to say they are either willfully ignorant or simply do not care about those guests and employees they have in their establishment. Sadly in the end unless legal action is taken to make them change it will most likely stay the same. So the choice will fall to those who choose to work here and guests who choose to stay here. I even confronted a medical expert on this subject and they said that the ventilation system will not stop any damage and those who choose to be in the environment and is not already a smoker will receive the same amount of damage due to breathing in the fumes in the air. Although this will take a few months that is not a long time for people who continue to come and employees who have to work long hours every day without escape of the fumes. Just a slight exposure can compromise your health. So with the evidence I have presented I hope those of you who have read this make an informed choice and take a look at my sources as well and maybe do a little research for yourselves because if you don’t take care of yourselves who will. Finally, to the Kansas crossing team who will most likely read this, I would recommend you take a hard look at yourselves and maybe consider making an important choice. I promise you will be all the more popular for it. tclc-syn-casinos-2007_0.pdf 1/16 (Google Search) http://www.publichealthlawcenter.org/sites/default/files/resources/tclc-syn-casinos-2007_0.pdf http://news.stanford.edu/news/2011/march/casino-secondhand-smoke-032511.html http://www.no-smoke.org/document.php?id=316DKDylan KComments (0)| Was this review helpful? 4182 reviewsOverall rating 2.5Slots 3.0(2)Table Games 1.0(1)Customer Service 3.0(2)Player’s Club 2.5(2)Gaming Atmosphere 3.0(2)Amenities or Hotel 1.0(1)Food & Drink 4.0(2) Add new review Real Casino ReviewJuly 23, 2017(Updated: July 23, 2017)Overall rating 4.6Slots 5.0Table Games N/ACustomer Service 5.0Player’s Club 4.0Gaming Atmosphere 5.0Amenities or Hotel N/AFood & Drink 4.0Took my wife and mother in law yesterday to check the place out.
